This is my first blog. For many days I kept on thinking what should I write in my first blog? After thinking on several topics I ended up with this.
"HOW TO WEAR A PERFECT RED LIPSTICK"
To wear a Red or any other lipstick you should scrub your lips at least once a week. There are many scrubs available in the market. Some are edible also. You can make your own lip scrub at home also by mixing little bit of sugar into ¼ tea spoon of honey and scrub this mixture into your lips. Scrubbing your lips will exfoliate dead skin from your lips and give a good canvas for applying lipstick. Always make sure to apply lip balm after scrubbing.
Moving on to prep and prime your lips first by applying lip balm. Here I have used ‘ The Body Shop ’ lip balm . This lip balm is extremely moisturizing for dry lips. It’s my personal favorite.
After moisturizing apply little bit of foundation or concealer (whatever is available with you). Foundation /concealer gives a good base to lipstick and make it long-lasting.
Now take a lip liner in either same tone or deeper tone (for nude lipsticks) of your lipstick. Make x on the upper center of your lips. Then outline the rest of the upper lips.
Now outline the center of your lower lip and connect the outline to the corners of your lips. Outlining the lips are very important as here you can change the shape of your lips by just outline your lips.
When you are done with the outline watch carefully as this is the structure of your desired lips. Corrections in lips shape has to be done at this point only. Once you are done with the outline then fill the inside area of your lips with the same lip liner.
Take a lipstick brush and apply lipstick of your choice over your lips. Here I’m using M.A.C. cosmetics Ruby Woo.
Now place the tissue inside your lips to remove extra lipstick from your lips as you don’t want your lipstick to come on your teeth. Fold the tissue and place it over your lips, dust your lips with translucent powder using powder brush. This will make your lipstick long-stay.
Re apply same lipstick with the lip brush one more time.
And you are ready to go ta-da!
